Contributions from the Otto Bremer Foundation Expands our Service Area

In late 2009, the SART Center received a generous endowment from the Otto Bremer Foundation to specifically develop a team of Forensic Nurse Examiners to care for victims of sexual assault within the surrounding hospitals of Polk County, WI. Services throughout Polk County began January 15, 2010—we could not have accomplished this expansion without them. Otto Bremer’s financial support dramatically changed the lives of the many communities in Polk County. We are honored and thankful for their continued support and encourage others to join us in our shared vision of a community free of sexual violence.

Case for Support

The St. Croix Valley Sexual Assault response Team (SART) in its values and beliefs and through its services, works toward the realization of a shared vision of a society without sexual violence. Our program is both proactive—providing education to schools and speaking to groups on sexual violence issues, and reactive—promoting healing, empowerment and restoration in our crisis response services.
