Prevention Education

School Based Prevention Education Program

Respect Works is an evidence and research-based program that addresses the issue of teen and young adult dating violence.

The St. Croix Valley Sexual Assault Response Team, SART, is committed to ending sexual violence and educating schools and groups alike toward that end.  Our Respect Works programming—taught by Erin McNiff, Client Services Coordinator—for middle school through high school and into college levels is offered FREE OF CHARGE to schools throughout Pierce, St. Croix and Polk counties.  Our multi-level program teaches students and community members how to respond to and help prevent sexual violence.

*School based programs are offered 6th-12th grade and into the college level.  For more information or to schedule programming, please contact Erin McNiff at erin@stcroixvalleysart.org or 715-425-6443.  Or go to the Respect Works website www.respect-works.org

We are happy to have an expert be accessible and proactively teach our students about the subject of sexual assault to help prevent it in their future. SART’s presentations have educated hundreds of our students on a subject that hopefully none of them will ever experience. We have heard from a previous student that without this presentation they wouldn’t have known what to do in a situation she was confronted with-proving this was time well spent!
