After an assault, the struggle to comprehend what has happened begins.  Our Advocacy Services provide crisis counseling, legal systems support, information, referrals to aid clients who have experienced sexual assault either in office or over the phone. Appointments can be made in office with our Advocacy Coordinator by calling 715-425-6443 or emailing at info@stcroixvalleysart.org.

Our Advocacy Services provide advocacy and accompaniment to the sexual assault exam, law enforcement interviews as well as throughout the court process.

St. Croix Valley Sexual Assault Response Team does not provide therapy. Any and all advocacy services provided through St. Croix Valley Sexual Assault Response Team are provided by victim advocates, not licensed professionals. St. Croix Valley Sexual Assault Response Team can make referrals to licensed therapists upon request.

Volunteer Response Advocates

Our Volunteer Response Advocates are trained community members who volunteer to provide advocacy, support, crisis counseling, information and referrals to those who have experienced victimization through our 24/7 helpline. Our Volunteer Response Advocates also provide advocacy and accompaniment during the sexual assault exam as well as advocacy and accompaniment to law enforcement interviews.
